Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

In the last few years, competition in the sector of commercial satellite launches has increased, particularly with the arrival on the market of the SpaceX company and its Falcon 9 launcher.
In this new context, adapting to the market and the drive for competitiveness makes the reduction in production costs one of the major challenges for the future launchers of the Ariane family.
The mission analysis which precedes each launch constitutes one of the cost items to be reduced.
During your internship you will be part of the Airbus Safran Launchers teams tasked with developing guidance and attitude control algorithms of space vehicles. You will thus process the powered (trajectory formation) and orbital flight phases (orientation and spacing of the launcher for satellite positioning).
To carry out this mission, you will use work which has already been performed on the guidance and attitude control aspects.

This internship will start on 3rd April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

·  Prototyping proposed solutions in a matlab/simulink simulation environment.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school or in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Simulation, Modelling/Engineering.
