Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity (Elancourt) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

You will join a team of 25 people dedicated to the architecture of innovative networks (fixed-line, tactical, radio, etc.) and their management (implementation of the ITIL process) in an international context.
Within the context of the overall solution for infrastructure and network services monitoring and VOIP, your role will consists in the implementation of an activity logs and system incident monitoring strategy (gathering, correlating and presenting).

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The work will relate to:

·  Taking over the technical base around Elastic Stack solutions (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats),
·  Collecting and indexing logs taken from various sources related to implemented IT infrastructures and networks,
·  Implementing dashboard oriented towards network health, capacity planning and function indications and SLA follow-up

This work is devoted to an application base, based on the Zabbix and JasperReports monitoring tools

During this internship, you will be in charge of:

·  Taking charge of the tools,
·  Participating in the definition of relevant indicators and dashboards regarding monitoring,
·  Gathering the information and presenting it through the Web portal.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Telecommunications/Networks.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

You have the skills in the following areas:

·  Networks: IP, SNMP, Syslog, Netflow and QoS, Cisco,
·  Web: HTML, Javascript, PHP,
·  OS: Linux, Apache.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
