Internship / Engineering Support to Production (m/f)
Internship Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) Conception / Génie civil / Génie industriel
Description de l'offre
Airbus Toulouse
Airbus Group is a global leader in aeronautics, space and related services. In 2014, the Group - comprising Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space and Airbus Helicopters - generated revenues of € 60.7 billion and employed a workforce of around 138,600.
Description of the job
Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
The Systems Installation MAP team in A350 FAL provides engineering support to production regarding electrical and mechanical systems installation issues.
One of the most frequently recurring MAP deliverables is the Design Query Note (DQN). Whenever production encounters a Non-Conformity (NC) which can be traced to a design error in the Aircraft Definition Dossier, MAP delivers a technical solution to the production via a DQN. The content of the DQN is later incorporated into the Definition Dossier.
DQNs are symptoms of non-quality in the Definition Dossier, they incur disturbance in the manufacturing world (delays, out-of-sequence work) as well as in the engineering world (reopening of definition dossier). Their cost can be significant. DQNs would not exist if the Definition Dossier was 'right first time'.
Hence the need to learn from past DQNs in order to make sure the future evolutions of the Definition Dossier do not lead to fresh DQNs when these modifications enter production.
In this context, MAP started in 2015 a root cause analysis of all DQNs since the first customer A350 (MSN6), followed by a set of recommendations to various stakeholders of the Definition Dossier, such as design office, engineering quality, technical requirements owners, DMU methods and tools.
This internship will start on 1st March 2016 (subject to some flexibility).
