Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

For this 6-month internship, you will join the team in charge of the system analysis of flight transitory phases (lift-off phase, stage separations, fairing jettisoning, positioning of payloads , etc.) for the modification of current launchers and future launchers.
During this internship, you will be able to draw on the experience and know-how of members of the team, and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, methods and tools.

This internship will start on 1st March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

The missions will take place in two phases:

·  Contributing to the technological watch on separation systems and the distancing of stages and knowledge base structuring,
·  Contributing to the improvement of models and tools for transitory phase analysis (3D visualisation, modelling for the simulation of certain phases, etc.)

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and in particular in Flight Mechanics, Modelling and Simulation.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You have knowledge of:

·  Modelling flight mechanics,
·  Launcher simulation,
·  Cshell, Fortran, Matlab, VAB coding

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
