Description of the job

An internship position in Engineering related to the automation of in-service aircraft data communication decoding has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Communication Architecture / Data link department.
The purpose of the internship will be to develop a program in order to automatize all the tasks related to the aircraft communication traffic data.
This internship will start in the February 2017 (subject to some flexibility)

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be in charge of developing tools and integrating other existing tools to enable automatic processing of aircraft communication traffic data.
Input of the tool is raw data set collected from various aircraft on-board recordings or on-ground networks. The tool, integrated with others, enables Airbus to perform some deep analysis on how aircraft communication systems are used and allow the analyse of systems behavior in-service. It also enables the monitoring of in-service known issues and the associated occurrences rate.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  In the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the last year of an Engineer School in aeronautical telecommunications,
·  Good knowledge in software development (standard programming language like C, java, Python, …)
·  Knowledge in integration of software components,
·  Telecommunication and network knowledge,
·  Good communication skills,
·  Advanced level of English. French would be a plus.
