Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

The future programmes teams within Airbus Safran Launchers are working on the projects and designs of the future to meet new challenges.
Within the context of its missions, the department you will join wants to study a future business concept for the market of small satellites on the Ariane 62 in order to improve cost-effectiveness.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Analysing the data available for the associated market segment
·  Developing the preliminary design of a deployment system for small propelled satellites
·  Preparing the business case for a launch service based on this system
·  Comparing this business case to alternative launch solutions
·  Preparing the business model (value proposition, distribution channels, production costs, etc.)

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or the 5th year of engineering school, specialising in General Engineering.

You have good knowledge of project management.
You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
French: fluent
