Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Airbus is developing the deployment of digital applications and tools within the entire Group to improve performance.
You will take part in the development of digitalisation within the Airbus Nantes plant. Within this scope, the plant must:

·  Take into account the Airbus deployment axes for digitalisation in the production sectors (production units) and in the sectors and activities outside production (logistics, tertiary sector, etc.),
·  Take into account current or future applications which suit the plant's needs,
·  Be capable of developing applications which suit its needs,
·  Be open to the ecosystem,
·  Accelerate and facilitate the introduction of suitable devices.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the Innovation network and the Digitalisation team of the Nantes site, your main tasks will include:

·  Supporting the teams in the introduction of applications which are suited to the needs, focussing on activities outside manufacturing,
·  Taking into account the digitalisation approaches in the manufacturing area in order to ensure general consistency,
·  Proposing applications which exist on the market and could be rapidly implemented,
·  Developing or helping develop applications, if necessary.

You will have to:

·  Meet project objectives (deadlines, scope, cost, quality, customer satisfaction) in compliance with external and internal rules and regulations,
·  Define, implement and steer the project team/organisation during project phases, including personnel from other functions (matrix organisation),
·  Ensure the successful integration of lessons learned,
·  Actively manage risks, opportunities and contracts (internally or externally),
·  Ensure the effective management of partners and suppliers.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year at university in Information Systems, specialising in the development of digital applications.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You have skills in the following areas:

·  People management (partners and suppliers),
·  Contract management within the scope of projects / programmes,
·  Risks & Opportunities management / implementation of strategies,
·  Resource and organisation management,
·  Management of customer expectations and needs,
·  Project lifecycle management,
·  Stakeholder management.

You have good critical analysis and synthesis skills. You are able to interact with and influence others; you are a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
