Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

As a "Contractor" for space and launch vehicle programmes, Airbus Safran Launchers contributes to architecture projects for complex systems. Airbus Safran Launchers is in particular in charge of the development of Ariane 6.

The VVMT project has been launched to implement and deploy a Verification and Validation (V&V) engineering workshop solution that will progressively lead to the removal of the existing solution. The VVMT environment must allow the optimisation of the elaboration of test plans, test specifications and test procedures, while interfacing with upstream requirements, as well as ensuring the traceability and automation of the ascension of verification proof (occurred, exploitation, report creation).

This internship will start on 21st November 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Under the responsibility of the project manager and within the project team, your tasks will include:

·  Contributing to the definition of technical requirements for the solution and to the associated Engineering activities,
·  Participating in the incremental development of the solution and performing the validation tests for the software modules under your responsibility,
·  Participating in the integration and validation phases and developing the methodological guides to assist the end users in the operational use of the functions implemented,
·  Assisting the team of user responsible for the acceptance phase on a pilot programme, in an operational environment.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in System Engineering.

You have the following skills:

·  Systems engineering,
·  Industrial computing,
·  Software development.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent
