Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 4 - to 6-month internship.

In the context of Aircraft documentation Maturity campaign, on aircraft validation consists in validating maintenance tasks on aircraft, on aircraft sections or on aircraft components. This validation checks if the sequencing of actions is correct, and that the technical content is relevant.
The verification report reflecting the identified non conformities is sent to authoring teams. In some cases, the authoring team may not agree with the non-conformities and will raise a contestation. Such contestation shall then be solved between both teams.

This internship will take place within the maturity team, in order to gain a good understanding of the function and stakes. You will therefore be trained in on aircraft validation and knowledge databases.
Your objective will be to assess the needs of the maturity team and implement a WIKI database reflecting the solutions agreed following contestations. The database content will aim at reducing the number of contestations by providing existing solutions to the end-users

This internship will start on 1st of March, 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Gather experience and inputs from the maturity team on contestations process
·  advise the OAV team on better way to set up the reports for less contestation
·  Expressing the software need,
·  Producing a customized WIKI application (knowledge sharing tool which can be used by the maturity team in their recurring activities),
·  Providing user training to the team.

Required skills

You are in the 1st or 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 4th or 5th year of engineering school preferably specialized in maintenance.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Advanced level,
French: Intermediate level.
