Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Our Engineering Airframe organisation (4000 persons) provides the detailed design of all Airbus aircraft. In the frame of a challenging efficiency improvement programme based upon costs reduction, you internship will consists in taking an improvement topic in the family of Design improvement like Design to Cost, Design to Weight, Design for Value.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Leading an identified improvement project focused on design improvement,
·  Ensuring basics project management tasks,
·  Reporting to internal customers,
·  Working in a transnational team,
·  Preparing and leading of workshops,
·  Ensuring communication support (30/40% of the mission).

Required skills

You are in the final year of a master's degree or of an engineering school or university, specializing in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Knowledge in German is a plus.

English: Fluent level,
French: Fluent level.
