Description of the job
Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
The objective of your internship is to develop a digital control loop for a switched mode converter on the basis of an Atmel DSP library which will be implemented to provide high flexibility for control.
In addition, the DSP library will generate the control signals for the primary and secondary mode switches (synchronous adjustment).
The DSP programming must be capable of generating the control signals required to operate the mode switches for several types of topology which will be analysed (hard switching, soft switching (ZVS, ZCS, etc.): phase shift topology).
This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
After a theoretical study based on a simulation tool; you will validate and test the algorithms for DSP programming on a specially produced mock-up. The design and production of this validation mock-up are not part of this internship.
You will participate in performance measurement and this will be compared to the expected performance.
Avenues for improvement and study will be defined.
A programming interface for control parameters will be developed via a PC.
Required skills
You are in the final year of engineering school, the 2nd year of a Master's degree, or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Electronic Engineering/Microwave Engineering.
You ideally have some initial experience.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
