Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 5-6 month internship.

The Multibus unit is a test device developed by the AIV department with the aim of simulating several digital interfaces used in satellite systems (SpaceWire, CAN, 1553, LVDS, RS422).
Its Zynq processing core is a system on chip composed of a programmable part (FPGA) and a system part that notably contains an ARM Cortex A9 dual core.
The current design of the Multibus unit has an embedded Linux OS (Xilinx PetaLinux) that operates on an A9 dual core and some programs that can control specific hardware components instantiated in the programmable part.
One of the future requirements for the Multibus unit is the integration of a real-time system to replace the current PetaLinux OS.

This internship will start on 3rd April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).
