Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

The Medical C2 system plays a critical role in military operations. It is the key enabler for effective care coordination and management of the medical support chain by displaying the medical situation.
The objective of your internship is to study and develop an initial medical C2 capability on an existing Command and Control framework.
This application will be able to:

·  Monitor health events,
·  Display the location and state of patients,
·  Display the location and availability of medical teams,
·  Display the location and availability of medical transport means
·  Display the location and availability of medical facilities.

This internship will start on 15th March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Becoming familiar with the existing C2 framework,
·  Designing medical C2 functions,
·  Making a prototype of the Medical C2 application,
·  Demonstrating this prototype to medical experts.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an Engineering school, specialising in Information Technology.

You must have a good knowledge of Java.
Knowledge of NASA World Wind would be appreciated.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
