Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity (Elancourt) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity, you will join the Solutions Development team as an intern.
The main goal of this team is to develop and maintain solutions used to manage and monitor the security of information systems.
The Solutions Development team develops cyber security software solutions with thin client graphic interfaces (web) to view the results of the detectors and the automatic analyses. During various events (trade fairs, simulations), these solutions are presented and used in real situations in order to demonstrate their ability to perform the services they are designed to deliver.

During the internship, you will use an existing software database designed to manage and run attack scenarios for the purposes of demonstrations and testing, and will develop one or more software components which can be used to integrate specific features relating to running demonstrations and to interactions with the other products and solutions used during the demonstration.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The internship will be composed of several phases:
1. Study and formal definition of the functions which are useful for demonstrations
2. Design of the new necessary software components
3. Development and integration of the new components in an industrial environment

As well as an internship report, you will also produce the documentation required to understand the components developed This internship provides an opportunity to gain good knowledge of the company and its processes and consequently better understanding to promote your future development. Our development methods, which you will be required to implement during your internship, will also be of benefit to you for future missions.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Information Technology.

You have knowledge of cyber security and IT attacks.
You are proficient in Python and web languages (JS, CSS, HTML).

You are dynamic, passionate about your field, and have good service skills.

You ideally have initial experience in the field.

You demonstrate independent and meticulous working methods, and have good summary skills.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent/negotiation level
