Description of the job

An internship in database optimisation and integration (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac.

You will join the Repair & Modification Embodiment department which operates once aircraft are sold to customers for repairs or design changes, including the provision of people to travel to customers around the world to do these actions.

You will work on various databases with a purpose of rationalization and simplification of use.

This 3 to 4 months internship will start from September 2017 (date subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will support buyers on the following topics:

·  Integrate and learn about the maintenance world
·  Work on databases in a digitalisation objective
·  Support on different projects

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  You are in Bac+2 or Bac+3 degree level (or equivalent) in IT and you are interested in the aeronautical domain
·  You know how to manipulate data through databases: Access or equivalent
·  Proficient user of Excel (especially on macros)
·  The mastering of Visual Basic (or an equivalent) would be a plus
·  Knowledge in project management would also be a plus
·  Soft skills : team spirit, curiosity, good communicator and enjoy field work
·  Intermediate level in French and English
