Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will join the EVYY department.
EVYY sub domain responsibility is to perform integration test and flight test analysis for avionics systems.

This internship will start on 1st September, 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

In the scope of the EV digitalization deployment for Airbus AirCraft programmes and in particular in big data, your responsibilities will include:

·  Understanding the big data environment,
·  Identifying available data to support the project,
·  Acquiring data from data sources and internal databases; filtering and consolidating data to prepare the data for further analysis,
·  Interpreting and correlating data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing reports,
·  Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets,
·  Presenting the analysis results in a way that is easily understood and used by business experts,
·  Specifying the algorithms used for interpretation and analysis and preparing these algorithms for industrialisation.

For those purposes, you will work closely with all avionics test specialists and in the team in charge of Big data deployment to combine statistical, analysis and technical approaches within the test big data environment.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's degree or in the 5th year of university or equivalent specialising in IT and/or Mathematics.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain and you have good knowledge in:

·  Data Science
·  Statistic Method/Data Analysis
·  Python
·  SpotFire/Qlik view/Splunk.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
