Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main missions will include:

·  Defining deviations from the Airbus Supply Chain processes, identifying problems, causes, actions to be initiated and planning with various participants/customers (Manufacturing Engineering, Purchases, Quality, Flight Test Installation, Logistics, etc.) in order to comply with the process
·  A320 ramp-up project: Initiating the follow-up of the identified actions to secure the ramp-up, identifying the various stakeholders, establishing the planning:

* Optimising item parameters
* Being in charge of Vendor managed Inventory (VMI): deploying new references, new suppliers, modifying minimums and maximums
* Challenging the review of our customer Kanban cards
* Having the opportunity to deploy double-sources
* Deleting free issues
* Coordinating logistic means

·  Creating an internal guide of daily best practices based on feedback from service Ordering Officers
·  Communication: Preparing an original and innovative presentation on the activity of the service, which will be used as a reference towards our customers (FAL, plants, etc.)
·  Reorganising the internal server of the service

Required skills

You are completing a Master's degree in a business school, university or equivalent, specialising in Supply Chain Management/Project Management.

Ideally, you have initial experience in this field.
You are a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
