Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within the Procurement Airframe Supply Management operational team based on the final assembly chain (PODL -multi-programme), you will provide analyses and set up continuous improvement initiatives.
You will provide analyses as well as propose solutions and the planning of the application of practices to ensure the optimal implementation of supply chain practices within PODL teams.
You will support PODL teams for the implementation of methods and processes in close collaboration with Airbus Procurement Operations, Business Operations and Improvement central teams, in the context of the decided continuous improvement policy.

You will directly report to the Airframe Supply Management team manager or his/her assistant.
This position is based in St Martin. The PODL operational teams are divided between the Toulouse and Hamburg assembly lines.

This internship will start on 4th January 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

· Providing support to the Airframe Supply Management teams by creating adapted performance indicators, carrying out Pareto, Ishikawa, etc. analyses to contribute to operational improvement of the service.
· Providing support to the follow-up of supply chain performance and productivity
· Initiating and following up continuous improvement actions
· Contributing to the optimisation of interfaces (supply officers, physical flows, suppliers, production, etc.)
· Implementing synergy operations at the confluence of multiple actors and functional operators
· Providing support to the standardisation of methods and processes of the service's operational activities
· Providing support to the follow-up of the supplier adherence and performance policy in line with the associated contracts and logistics conditions
· Providing support to projects affecting PODL (function rules, implementation and deployment of new processes and Airbus Supply Chain collaborative tools
· Participating in projects and working groups

Profil recherché

Required skills

You are in the 1st year of a Master's degree or in the 4th year of an engineering school or university, specialising in Supply Chain.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
