Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Les Mureaux) is looking for a trainee for a 6-month internship.

You will participate in continuous improvement within Les Mureaux Composites unit, on two areas of major projects; training of operators (qualification/certification), and the implementation 5S work on the various product lines. This work shall be in line with the industrial scheme for the Composites building and also comply with the FOD (Foreign Object Debris/Damage) policy.

This internship will be available from 2 January 2017 (although there is a certain degree of flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Writing up data sheets related to each of the unit's product lines and their proper sequence during the training of a new entrant
·  Ensuring training consistency between the various product lines
·  Ensuring a strong link with the Inspection department
·  Setting up thought process workshops on tools and their ergonomics
·  Taking part in Composite unit managerial routines
·  Helping to implement new processes with the rollout of Airbus Safran Launchers.

Required skills

Candidates should be in their final year at an engineering school, Master's students or university students (5th year) specialising in Engineering/Production.

Ideally, you already have some initial experience.

Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level
French: Fluent.
