Tasks & accountabilities

Within the Research department in the System and Services division, you will be responsible for designing and proposing an intelligent tool configuration solution for maintenance operations. You will work directly with the research and innovation teams for coordination, networking and so on.

Today, many studies make use of robots in certain maintenance operations. In the near future, these new tools will be the work operators for maintenance technicians. We want to study this evolution by producing an initial prototype that is capable of steering an intelligent tool.

It is in this context that we want to firstly look at the market solutions in order to rank them and show the potential of connected tools. The subsequent analysis of aircraft maintenance documentation will allow us to choose one or several tasks so as to demonstrate the feasibility of configuring an intelligent tool using the data from maintenance documentation. The aim is to not only simplify the operational work, but also the reliability of interventions on the aircraft.
