Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within the Airframe Supply Management Procurement operational team based on the final assembly lines (PODL - multi-programmes), you will support continuous improvement initiatives and will create communication packages towards customers and management.

You will deliver communication documents targeted to external entities of the department, based on analyses, you will also propose solutions for a communication strategy and you will ensure an optimal implementation of practices to support the department manager.

You will develop communication procedures and documents and you will provide support to the PODL management for the implementation of methodologies in close collaboration with central teams to ensure an optimal communication strategy, by promoting the contents and the continuous improvement policy framework decided by the department.

You will directly report to the manager of Airframe Supply Management or the assistant manager.
This position is based in Toulouse - St-Martin. The PODL operational teams are divided between the Toulouse and Hamburg assembly lines.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main missions will include:

·  Providing support to the manager of Airframe Supply Management FALs teams for the strategy and the deployment of external (customers, etc.) and internal communication of the PODL department
·  Preparing documents and creating the mock-up and the structure of documents based on the Supply Chain performance follow-up and analyses/initiatives of team productivity
·  Launching continuous improvement actions
·  Taking part in the optimisation of interfaces (supply officers, logistics, supply chain and quality, production, customer management, etc.)
·  Implementing synergy operations at the confluence of multiple actors and functional operators
·  Providing support for the harmonisation of activities
·  Supporting projects affecting the PODL department (function rules, implementation and deployment of new processes, etc.)
·  Participating in projects and working groups

Required skills

You have completed a 4-year degree in Communication and you wish to pursue your studies in a business school, university or equivalent, in the same field.

Ideally, you have initial experience in this field.
You are a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: negotiation level.
