Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

In the context of management for the programme's Profits and Losses (P&L), you will provide qualitative and quantitative data that is useful for discussions and will aid Management to make decisions.

This internship will start on 6th February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Communicating on performance with respect to the budgets/targets, highlighting discrepancies and proposing mitigation actions if needed,
·  Challenging and supporting partners in all divisions, with the aim of improving financial and operational performance,
·  Orienting contributors by applying a convergence process in order to achieve the definition of objectives,
·  Managing risks & opportunities,
·  Supporting the organisation during decisions on major changes (commercial dossiers, rates, major modifications, etc.),
·  Contributing to cash planning (pre-delivery/anticipated payments, European technological initiatives, CAPEX, stock, supplier expense planning),
·  For all development programmes, being able to follow up on the programme through an Earned Value Management approach, in partnership with the stakeholders,
·  Assisting with the preparation of commercial bids and operations,
·  Providing the qualitative and quantitative financial data to prepare a winning bid,
·  Validating the consistency of the bid's financial content and financial risk exposure and establishing the commercial dossier,
·  Challenging the Sales, Engineering and Programmes organisation to determine whether a bid should be submitted or not, setting prices and calculating the target costs and general conditions.

Required skills

You are in the 3rd or 4th year of a Finance and Management Control degree.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and you are a proficient user of Excel. SAP knowledge would be a plus.

You are recognised for your meticulous and well-organised approach.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
