Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the Powerplant Centre of Competence, the mission of the intern will consist in performing the analysis, the summary & capturing the key learnings associated to the A320neo engine and nacelle development experience.

Focus will be made on the issues that have been seen during the development, especially during the Flight Test campaign, and that have been selected based on their criticity or their potential impact for airlines operational reliability.

This internship will start on 4th September (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Being in charge of outlining the lessons learnt from such A320neo issues, through synthetic documents or detailed technical notes,
·  Creating of technical recommendations that will be transferred to A330neo teams to support Flight Test campaign, in order to reach operational maturity at Entry Into Service.
·  Analysing of in-service issues experienced by the airlines, related to the Powerplant. The investigations will be made in strong relationship with Airbus Customer Services.

To perform this activity, the intern will have to work in close relationship with numerous Airbus entities such as Design Office, Customer Support and Flight Tests.

The student will work on a perimeter which covers the Propulsion System, as well as interfaces between the powerplant and the aircraft environment – such as bleed, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an engineering school, specialising in Powerplant Propulsion, Combustion.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: Advanced level.
French: Advanced level.
