Description of the job

Airbus (Saint-Éloi) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

The Saint-Éloi plant produces all engine pylons for commercial Airbus aircraft. The Saint-Éloi Plant Programme department is the represent of Central Programmes within the plant and the represent of the plant within Central Programmes. As such, you will coordinate cross-functional activities of the plant for each programme (A320, A330, A350, A380, etc.). This internship will involve the optimisation of the local IT tool currently used by the PP department to evaluate the future activity workload and to compare it with available internal and external resources (at department level = 50 people).

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Formalising Voice of Customer needs,
·  Preparing work specifications,
·  Proposing and validating technical specifications,
·  Developing and testing an optimised tool prototype,
·  Deploying the validated tool.

The expected deliverables are:

·  1 work specification,
·  1 technical specification,
·  1 optimised tool,
·  1 user and maintenance manuals.

Required skills

You are in the first year of engineering school, completing vocational qualification or in the 3rd year of university, specialising in IT: IT profile (development tools) with knowledge of project management.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
