Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

A350 Cabin Procurement team mission is to secure on-time and on-quality deliveries of Airlines furnishing cabin equipment to Airbus Final Assembly Line) as well as Cabin equipment under the responsibility of Airbus.

In the frame of this mission, you will support the data management in the A350 Fleet Project Management (PM) operations. You will be a key player in the department transformation project (so called ‘BFE PM' project) aiming at improving the operational data flow between Project Management tools and databases and developing new PM tools (Excel Vba, Mysql based).

This activity will support the definition, implementation and deployment of project management processes & tools.

This internship will start on 1st September, 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  supporting the improvement of PCC operations in the A350 perimeter,
·  leading / supporting specific projects and working in close relationship with all stakeholders from the relevant functions,
·  driving definition and implementation of Project Management tools by:

* Defining global Data Management strategy,
* Defining PM tools roadmaps based on the detailed PCC Fleet Management process and synchronized with the BFE PM project roadmap,
* Taking all existing and ongoing IT tools into account (e.g. FCO V8 tool).

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of a business school or engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in IT.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain and you have competencies in project management and with working knowledge of agile software development / scrum methodology.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
