Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (date subject to certain flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main missions will involve:

1/ Implementing a logistic flow that would enable automatic procurement between the central store and the production site:

·  Gathering the existing data to understand how the physical flows function,
·  Mapping these flows,
·  Implementing suitable logistic solutions (definition of a milk-run, sizing of economic sets, delivery deadlines),
·  Matching data processing (in ERP SAP) with the physical flow through scanning and by deploying the appropriate digital transactions,
·  Implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the implemented process.

2/ Producing a clear and precise description of the plant's logistic processes:

·  Contacting the various actors in order to establish clear procedures: order placement, query management, emergency procedures, supplier monitoring.

Required skills

You are in the 1st year of a Master's degree or in the 4th year of an engineering school or university, specialising in Production/Flow Management.

Ideally, you have initial experience in Logistics, Kanban flow and FiFo.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

English: intermediate level.
French: negotiation level.
