Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 6-month internship.

You will participate to the analysis of joint performance with liquid shim.
Within Airbus, the majority of the structural assembly are made with fasteners.
Due to tolerance management of the different structure to be assembled, sometimes some gaps could remain after the assembly.
But as this gap could reduce the performance of the fastener joints, we could use liquid shims to close the gap under certain conditions.

This internship will start on 16th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main mission will include:

·  analysing the behavior of the fastener joint using liquid shims,
·  defining the limit of uses from an engineering point of view.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Materials Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
