Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity (Elancourt) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within Airbus Defence and Space, you will join the Product Security Office team within the Secure Land Communication entity as an intern.
The goal of this entity is to define security solutions and products, in particular in the field of professional radio communication networks.

The internship will involve developing, testing and producing the documentation for a set of tools which can be used to:

·  Activate hardening functions
·  De-activate hardening functions
·  Verify the implementation of hardening functions

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be required to work on:

·  Different OS systems (Linux, Windows, etc.)
·  The implementation of a central framework in a portable language (Python, Java, etc.), enabling modular development of the hardening functions (activate, de-activate, verify)
·  The development of the central framework for Linux/Windows
·  The development of hardening modules for Linux/Windows
·  The specification of test tools
·  The production of documents regarding implementation, testing, and use of the tools.

Required skills

You are in the second or final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 4th or 5th year of university, specialising in Information Technology.

You have good knowledge of Python and/or Java development tools.
You are passionate about your field, have good service skills and are interested in development using Python/Java and scripting.

You are an independent and dynamic worker and have excellent analytical and summary skills.

You ideally have initial experience in the field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level
French: fluent/negotiation level
