Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

The candidate will be supporting the Aerostructure Procurement central team (10 people) supporting a community of 140 buyers. Your internship will be focused on building an interface for the buyers to access key data related to Aerostructure Top suppliers. Support on other project(s)/activitie(s) may be requested: supplier information management, process improvement, deployment of new practices or digitalisation topic.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You main activities will include:

·  Identifying the stakeholder and the involvement,
·  Running interviews to get all information and inputs required,
·  Analysing information and defining a solution,
·  Making a proposal and performing validation loops with the relevant stakeholders,
·  Building and developing the interface,
·  Following-up the development or deployment of the new proposed solution,
·  Recording lessons learnt and proposing further improvement before project closure,
·  Participating to the presentation of the project to the buyers and management team.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's degree or in the 5th year of university, business school or equivalent, specialising in International Business, Marketing, Strategy, Procurement, or similar field of study.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain and you are at ease with IT tools. You have a good knowledge of Microsoft office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint).

You have good analytical skills and know the basics of project management. You are well organised, curious and innovative.
You are adaptable, pro-active & can work independently.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
