Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will join the quality department for A350 centre wing box and keel beam detail parts. Your internship will take place during a major production ramp-up period. In this context, the priorities for the quality department are to ensure the successful and consistent induction of new employees and to strengthen monitoring.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Revising the training programme for new employees (presentation of reference documentation, overview of mission, tools, tutoring sheet)
·  Creating a handbook on quality function rules
·  Setting up monitoring for key parameters of manufacturing processes
·  Defining alert thresholds for drift.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of the basics of quality on our production lines.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in 5th year at university, specialising in IT (big data)/Statistics/Quality.

You ideally have some initial experience.

You have skills in practical problem solving and basic knowledge in performance improvement management.

You are recognised for your communication skills, ability to summarise, curiosity and motivation.
You have an autonomous approach.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
