Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 3-month internship.

This internship will take place within the Cabin Furnishings Production Unit of the Final Assembly Line for the A330 programme.
Reporting directly to assembly line management, you will support the production teams to improve the performance management tools and processes.
You will steer the implementation of a new digital tool for monitoring production progress by applying standard Airbus project management methodology (LBIP+), in close connection with the Lean tools and methodologies.

This internship will start on 9th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

As the jobholder, you will have the following responsibilities:

·  Planning and organising the project (definition of scope, schedule and objectives),
·  Analysing the diagnostic and actual performance management process,
·  Designing a new performance management process involving the production teams,
·  Deploying this process on all cabin assembly production stations.

Required skills

You are in the final year of an engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Engineering/Production/Project management.

You ideally have an initial experience in the field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
