Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

The Mise Au Point (MAP) is responsible to provide an engineering support to the Final Assembly line (FAL), and provide solutions to design non-conformities discovered during the cabin assembly or the cabin tests.

More specifically, you will work in the MAP Cabin and Cargo environment, dealing with the cabin and cargo furnishing (monuments, linings, seats, related to the ATA chapter 25).

This internship will start on 4th, January 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of the MAP Cabin and Cargo activity at Long Range Programme, your main tasks will include:

· analysing the team activities and process, proposing a visual management strategy, in agreement with the team leader,
· applying the SQCDP management (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People) to the MAP activities and to the MAP specific needs,
· synthesising the activity, identifying key data to be highlighted and controlled, and preparing the specification for the tool which will support the Visual Management (Intranet application).

Profil recherché

Required skills

You are in the 1st year of a master or in the 4th year of a business school or university, specialising in mechanical engineering and project management.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You have a good team spirit and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

French: negotiation level.
