Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 6-month internship.

Depending on the specific airframe integrator role, each airframe integrator will be responsible for their relevant MCA/Section/Area/RSP work depending on the program phase or business requirements. R&T airframe integrators will be responsible for all activities for concept phase till MG2. Technical Signatury for Airframe Integration will be delegated by the appropriate Program Airframe Architect to the relevant Airframe Integrators. The technical
Signatury for R&T integrators will be delegated by the heads of ESIRx related to specific MCA work or from the head of ESIRN for NSDW related R&T work.

The Airframe Integrators have several missions to fulfil in their roles. These missions can relate to an aircraft program, or the management of their individual teams.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main missions will include:

Concept Phase (MG2 to MG5):

·  delegating Airframe Architecture Technical Signatory to the relevant and appropriate sub-component integrators,
·  forming a bridge between R&T and expert teams for Trade Studies and Design Solutions development,
·  leading R&T integration projects and related activities (including budgets),
·  validating the technical solutions proposed by the expert members or teams for compliance with airframe requirements.

Design Phase (MG5 to MG9):

·  managing the interface agreements relevant to the product breakdown (including Cargo & Cabin interfaces),
·  managing Structures and Systems Installation expert teams to implement the Component Design Technical Integration Plan and all Airframe related deliverables (GFEM, DMU, SAM, Material Qualification, Test Pyramid...),
·  ensuring adherence to Airframe component requirements and means of compliance,
·  managing schedule for the product Airframe design phase and the functional support,
·  ensuring representation at Design Reviews as review panel member,
·  managing RSP technical interfaces for product design and secure the functional support.

Integration & Qualification Phase (MG9 to MG15):

·  coordinating Structures and Systems Installation expert teams for the formal 'Verification and Validation' of the Product Design to the cascaded Airframe requirements,
·  managing the Airframe Certification Plan by coordinating the deliveries of all the Airframe related entries to the Airbus Certification Documents,
·  supporting new architecture developments for serial program phases,
·  supporting the assessment & evaluation of in service issues (including concessions), performance improvements and Major Modifications (CNs & CRs).

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Aerospace Engineering.

You ideally have an initial international experience and you have an Aeronautic / Space / Defence certification.
You have a knowledge of A330 airframe product evolution.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: Fluent level.
