Description of the job

An internship offer entitled "VALUE AND CARACTERISTICS OF AUTONOMOUS AERIAL VEHICULES (h/f)" has just opened at Airbus (Commercial Aircraft), in Toulouse.
You will join the department in charge of coordinating research activities in the field of autonomy for all divisions: it starts from automatic piloting to artificial intelligence to pilot a drone for example.
Your primary mission will be to help assess the value of autonomy in the aerospace industry, from vehicle to technology. You will help to capture value elements and make the link between value and technical characteristics of products. This will involve many exchanges with project managers to identify their needs, the value added and the use of a specific tool to make the link.
This internship will start on 05 March 2018 (date subject to flexibility) and will last 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following key activities:

·  capturing characteristics
·  ensuring that there is consistency between the needs expressed by vehicles and the different technological solutions

Very punctual business trips may take place and, as a result, you must be prepared to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the following experience and skills:

·  currently in the last year of engineering school or equivalent, you are preparing a degree of Bac+5 (Master 2) aeronautics or systems oriented
·  you must have advanced knowledge in artificial intelligence
·  you master the Office Pack
·  you have great ability to take a step back, communicate and exchange information
·  you know how to integrate into a team
·  you are proactive and autonomous
·  language skills: advanced levels in French and English. The German will be a plus.
