Description of the job
A vacancy for an ILS - Integrated Logistic Support - Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt (78).
As the successful candidate you will join the Integrated Logistics Support & Service department of Communication Intelligence and Security (CIS) Business Line.
Your main mission as a Logistics Support Manager you will lead your activities hand in hand with systems development teams, in order to design/anticipate systems operating:
· maintainability study,
· run-mode
· maintenance means (documentation, tooling)
In this mission you will have a transverse and multi-programme role and interface with all programmes, engineering, procurement.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ to be in charge of ILS activities toward the Program Manager and be the focal point of the Customer for ILS issues.
¤ to take care of the Customer organisation and maintenance to adapt the maintenance Policy.
¤ to define and conduct the ILS plan.
¤ to be familiar with the ILS and RAMT engineering methods (LSA, LCC, LORA, RCM., FMECA, FTA..) and the relative Tools.
¤ to specify the requirements in terms of design of Equipment/system and in terms of definition/production of support elements to engineering team and to suppliers.
¤ to be responsible for the delivery of the ILS justification and Support element (Tech Puch, training, Spares, STTE, Infrastructures...) according to the program Schedule.
¤ to report the Status of ILS activities of each project in terms of cost, quality and on time delivery.
¤ to manage Risks and Opportunity relative to ILS.
¤ to participate to Configuration management process and you assume the consistancy of ILS elements with the system.
¤ to identify the need of resources to deal with ILS activities.
This role will involve some frequent travel for business in France and Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
¤ Educated to a Master Degree specialised in systems Engineering or a related discipline.
¤ At least 5 years of experience in ILS, in aerospace or civil/military aeronautical industry and in an International/export context, is mandatory.
¤ Project management basics.
¤ Ideally knowledge of ground stations and Geo Intelligence activities.
¤ Familiar with the ILS and RAMT engineering methods and associated tools.
¤ Good knowledge of DITA.
¤ Strong communication and persuading skills.
¤ Fluent level in French and Advanced level in English.
