Description of the job

A vacancy for an Industrial Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt. You will join the Production Management Department, in the “Space Equipment Operations” Division.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. As a member of the production's team, you will be responsible of your manufacturing projects inputs and progress:

·  Being responsible of the right definition and configuration of units to be manufactured
·  Being responsible of the industrialisation of electronic boards and equipment with the support of the Methods team
·  Being responsible of the Launch and progress of parts procurement with the support of the Material controllers team
·  Being responsible of the launch and progress of the production of electronic boards with the support of the scheduling and manufacturing shopfloor team.

2. As a member of the project's Core Teams, you will be responsible of all the manufacturing outputs:

·  Delivery of the units in terms of materials and documentation
·  Milestones and allocated cost respect
·  Requested Qualify level

You will manage these two activities in the frame of a matrix international organisation, focused on negotiation, process respect, traceability and Customer satisfaction.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Engineering degree (or equivalent) specializing in Manufacturing, project management, or electronics
·  At least 3 years of experience in similar positions, in a production environment
·  Project management experience
·  Knowledge of at least one GPAO tool: SAP, WindChill or equivalent
·  Electronic parts basic knowledge
·  An initial experience in the space or aeronautical industry would be highly appreciated
·  Communication and interpersonal skills, quality-orientated and structure mindset
·  French: negotiation level
·  English: advanced level
