Description of the job

A vacancy for an Automatic Language Processing Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt. You will join the Open Source Intelligence Departement.

Passionate by new information and cutting-edge technologies, come and join the Open Source Intelligence team as an HLT (Human Language Technologies) Engineer in charge of developing the next generation of our products that will support Intelligence analysts in their daily tasks. As an active contributor both to our operational programs, you will further develop and improve of our own Smart Data Analytics platform which integrates many components for collecting, processing, analyzing and visualizing massive multi-media data (text, image, video, audio).

Fixed-term contract : 1 year duration.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Integrate and validate existing assets or COTS covering technical areas such as Text- to-Speech (TTS), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker identification (SID) and Machine Translation (MT).
·  Develop and evaluate speech recognition module on noisy and accented data.
·  Participate in writing reports or bids dealing with HLT.
·  The position requires a relevant studies degree in Human Language Technologies (speech analysis, machine translation, neuronal approaches, etc.).

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to PhD degree level (or equivalent) in Machine Learning or a related discipline.
·  Good knowledge of tools such as Kaldi, TensorFlow, Gstreamer, Python, Moses.
·  Language Skills: negotiation level of French, advanced level of English.
