Description of the job

A vacancy for a Geo-information Datastore Project Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. As the successful candidate you will join the CIS devision.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

As Geo-Information Datastore Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of bespoke datastore infrastructures to customers on time, on quality and on cost according to the agreed project conditions.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

From the existing Datastore product and with support of the engineering team, design of a solution tailored to customer needs:

·  Contribution to discussion of Datastore specifications with customer
·  Functional design, required performances, operational concepts, security needs
·  Software architecture, hardware architecture, IT and security aspects
·  Definition of the geospatial data set to be eventually delivered with the system

Planning and control of development, integration, qualification and on-site delivery activities
Insuring the setup of Agile methodology for development, integration and qualification
Planning and control of related costs
Identification and monitoring of risks
Performing quality control checks, ensuring the safety and effectiveness or reliability of the system (based on products integration);
Preparing and Insuring operational maintenance in customer premises
Leading the engineering team involved in the project;
Contributing to the Datastore product roadmap with proposed evolutions

Required skills

·  Educated to an engineering degree level or equivalent
·  Successful experience with datastore products (i.e. I4D or IDP) and solution deployed (thematic centers)
·  Experience as project or technical lead management
·  Ability to embrace all technical aspects (system engineering, IT architecture), understand operational requirements and anticipate main steps of project realization
·  Experience in new digital technologies (Digitalization, Cloud, etc.) would be a plus
·  Autonomous, proactive, reliable, rigorous and consistent
·  Analytical skills to improve the project execution
·  Customer satisfaction oriented
·  Fluent in French and English
