Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the Flight Test Centre organization, the Flight Mechanics and Telemetry team is responsible for preparing and analysing flight tests (FT) related to Flight Physics and Handling Qualities disciplines.

Our engineers contribute not only to carry out a safe and efficient FT campaign but also to certify Airbus products, through real-time telemetry follow-up and differed-time FT analysis.

In this internship you will support the Flight Mechanics and Telemetry team to prepare the FT campaign, defining and validating on-board and real time (telemetry) visualization tools and differed time analysis tools. The field of application concerns mainly flight mechanics and aircraft performance.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's Degree or the 5th year of an Engineering School specialising in Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering.

You have knowledge in Flight Mechanics and ideally in Aerodynamics.

Programming skills e.g. in Matlab would be a plus.

You are recognised for your adaptability to a changing environment as well as for your proactive way of working. Furthermore you enjoy working in a team.

You have advanced English skills. French skills would be an advantage.
