Description of the job
A position is open as Flight Dynamics Simulation Training Support Engineer (m/f) in Airbus Toulouse.
You will be part of Flight Dynamic Simulation department.
Flight Dynamics domain is recruiting engineer providing Airbus simulators with high fidelity flight loop models, including physics part (aerodynamic, powerplant, flight mechanics) and systems part (flight controls, sensors, actuators…). Accuracy is proven thanks to simulation comparison with real flight tests. These models are then exported to Pilots Training Simulators, which has to be qualified, based on a QVSD (Qualification Validation Source Data) dossier provided to the Simulator Manufacturer.
The job offer is part of the team in charge of producing these QVSDs, and supporting training simulator manufacturers and Airlines.
Team size is currently increasing, due to training simulators rampup, regulation change, and new Airbus derivatives launched.
You will get the opportunity to develop knowledge in flight dynamics, aircraft systems and airworthiness regulations.

Your main tasks and missions:
¤ prepare, deliver and support the Qualification Validation Source Data
¤ improve QVSD production process thanks to initiatives around automatization, validation strategy, new services for our customers, methods and tools adaptation.

Required skills
Your boarding pass:
You have an engineering degree in Aeronautical (or equivalent)
You have a knowledge in Aircraft systems and Flights Mechanical
OSMA knowledge desirable
You will need physical sense, strong analytical skills, innovative and team-focused mindset.
You are proactive with critical mindset
Advanced level in French and English
