Description of the job

A vacancy for Physical measurement Engineer for flight test (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Test Instrumentation Components department.

Within the Flight Test Centre, you will be in charge of developing and supporting instrumentation in physical measurements: pressure, stress, temperature, vibration, noise, gas, displacement... You will be part of a dynamic and open minded team of 18 engineers and experts deeply involved in innovation and research projects looking for the latest technologies.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsabilities will include:

• Driving projects and developments of new instrumentations
• Integrating, validating and supporting new test means
• Ensuring maturity on flight test means
• Seeking for continuous improvement and simplification
• Fostering innovation and new technologies from customer market
(IoT, MEMS, Wireless, Harvesting, Nanotechnologies, BigData...)

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experiences:

• Educated to Master's level (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Physical measurements
• Analog and digital electronic
• Digital signal processing
• System & mechanical design
• Project management
• Data analysis (Mathlab, python)
• Language: Advanced level in English.
