It will capitalise on the success of Ariane 5 by focusing on innovation.
This open position will be in the context of the second phase of the Airbus Safran Launchers creation project. The aim of this project is to increase teams from 450 employees to several thousand on a panel that covers military and civil launchers.
This project is currently in its preparation phase (including for the information/consultation phase with social partners). "

Description of the job

A fixed-term vacancy for an Environment Safety Expert (f/m) has arisen within Airbus Safran Launchers at the Les Mureaux site (78). You will join the Environment Health and Safety (SSE) department.

This position has a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

This position will require security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Participating in the deployment of the Environment Health and Safety Management system within the context of the ASL company creation (starting from 01/07/2016),
·  Developing, improving and maintaining up-to-date the procedures relevant to documentation on the environment: implementation of procedures to go from an ISO14001 management system to a new SSE management system,
·  Providing support to and internal auditing of Production teams,
·  Carrying out the regulatory watch of the environmental plan and ensuring the legal compliance in terms of the environment at the Les Mureaux site,
·  Participating in the building of the pertaining approach to chemical risks related to REACH regulation requirements,
·  Ensuring the legal reporting for the part on environment.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Master's degree in General Engineering (or equivalent),
·  At least 2 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities,
·  Knowledge of the ISO14001 management system,
·  Knowledge of chemical risks,
·  Ability to raise employee awareness in terms of the engagement and commitment in the governance of Environment Health and Safety risks,
·  Implementing the necessary indicators (definition and follow-up) to measure the progress of action plans,
·  Ability to mobilise management techniques in compliance with the company means,
·  Knowledge of the SSE management system of the SAFRAN company would be a plus,
·  Intermediate level of English and a negotiation level of French.
