Description of the job

A vacancy for a Documentary Engineering Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Corporate Jet Centre.

In the frame of AIRBUS Corporate Jet Centre, the Design Office performs all development linked to the conversion of the aircraft for VIP/Airlines application. Part of DO, the Documentary Engineering is in charge of all types of documentations published and/or required to support the tasks issued by the Design Office. It participates to the fundamentals developed to support the DOA agreement of ACJC DO

The successful applicant will report to the Tool and Process Manager, part of Design Office and will work in close collaboration with the other departments & services of ACJC.

Tasks & accountabilities

In this scope, you will be responsible for:

·  Issuing supplement to the following manuals: FM, FCOM, MMEL, MPD, TEM and Conversion Instructions.
·  Leading and controlling the supplement to the following maintenance manuals produced by sub-contractors and/or suppliers : AMM, TSM, SRM, IPC, WDM, CAOM/CCOM, CMMv, Cleaning Manual, Training Manual (and other manuals if required).
·  Being the technical Interface between sub-contractors and Design Office.
·  Working in close collaboration with Customer Support Department, Project Manager and Airworthiness manager.
·  Being the interface between ACJC design office department and AIRBUS Technical Publication Department (Both Maintenance and Operational manuals) in the case of ACJC documentation integrated in basic documentation produced by Airbus.
·  Supporting the training phase of the customer/operator cabin crew teams
·  Writing STB and selecting contractors with purchase department
·  Ensuring Archiving of all documentation produced by ACJC (All departments)
·  Ensuring the duplication and record keeping of documents, drawings on various support (paper, CD ROMs, DVD, microfilms...)
·  Being the focal point for Design Office on both Workmanager and AMOS (ERP Systems).
·  Organizing each configuration management for Design System (Drawing Statement Production)
·  Producing miscellaneous activities (subcontracted) : filing, translations; scanning...
·  Standardization projects: Following the standardization catalog.
·  Being involved in the DO processes analysis and optimisation
·  Being involved in the DO CAD tools survey and securization

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:

·  Experimented technical author with experience in Aeronautical
·  Very good knowledge of the technical publication rules : ATA100, ATA2200

( XML,SGML), S1000D, simplified English, Spec 2000

·  Good knowledge of the main cabin modification ATAs 23, 25 and 33.

Other concerned ATAs : 05,06,11,12,21,24,26,30,31,35,38,46,52,53,55,92.

·  Knowledge of standard MS-Office applications
·  Advanced level of English
·  Good sense of teamwork with internal and external entities,
·  Autonomous,
·  Experienced in Customer and Vendors relationship and coordination should be a must.
