Description of the job
The aviation industry is now entering into its next revolution: connected, fully-digital aviation. Like past revolutions, it will bring with it new business models to further improve customer experience, sustainability and efficiency. Airbus “Skywise” platform is designed to fully exploit the potential of big data in aviation.
In aviation, data used to be locked in silos for maintenance, flight management, aircraft monitoring and safety, and other critical workflows. At Airbus we have discovered the value of integrating disparate data sources.

We are looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Marketing Manager (m/f) at Airbus in France to drive awareness and revenue for Skywise Digital Services.
You will be comfortable with running multiple projects, and working in an international environment. You will also demonstrate a passion for digital technology and be fully familiar with near-future trends and software. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the software marketing domain, including awareness, performance and acquisition campaigns.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include to:
Define portfolio positioning & messaging: Develop positioning & messaging by customer segments that identify white-space opportunities, demonstrate the business value of Skywise Digital Services, and differentiate the portfolio from its competitors.
· Develop marketing programs: Provide product expertise & content to global and regional field marketing to generate demand
· Compete effectively: Working with product management, analyse market and competition, differentiate Skywise digital services
· Enable sales: Working with go-to-market and partner teams, develop sales enablement materials, such as solution presentations, what’s new FAQs, battle-cards, objection handling, tele-sales guides, etc. Identify and promote unique use cases that demonstrate how technology innovation leads to business value
· Define business model for software solutions
· provide standard commercial documents (commercial offers and contracts) with the support of legal and contracts business lines.
· Support customer sales presentations when specific expertise is required.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required skills
· Technology marketing experience in one or more areas desired (software, IT solution, data management, analytics, information management)
· Technical marketing / product marketing experience for leading-edge products (1-3 years)
· Proven track record of delivering successful marketing programs to technical audience
· Self-motivated with the ability to anticipate problems and offer alternate solutions
· Team-oriented willing to roll-up sleeves when needed for overall team success
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
· Familiar with market research or market opportunity assessment
· Bachelors or above degree in engineering, business, or related field
Qualifications
Working toward a Bachelors, Masters or PhD
University degree preferable. MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus. Fluent English.
