Would you like to play an active role in one of Airbus’ key initiatives?
We are currently developing a new Manufacturing Engineering organisation to contribute to improving the overall quality of the Equipment and Systems products and the satisfaction of our customers.
In this context, we would like to onboard a Digital Manufacturing Engineer within our team, someone that could bring a Digital perspective to this new transnational team of Manufacturing Engineers, inside the Engineering Systems organisation.
No precisely defined roadmap is existing yet, everything is to be created! So if you like challenges, this role is for you! We work as a team to empower individual development and to grow our discipline and company knowledge.

Your mission

As a Digital Manufacturing Engineer, you will bring a digital impulse by defining and influencing the digital transformation of our Manufacturing Engineering for Equipment and Systems. You will work with Industrial, Engineering, Procurement and Quality functions and with all the major suppliers worldwide.
Whether we look at data continuity from suppliers to in-service, co-development with suppliers between design and manufacturing, knowledge management or whatever, we look for use of digital possibilities to improve our activities.
This role will involve visits to supplier’s facilities and Airbus sites; as such you must be able to travel accordingly (around twice a month).
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

• Engineering background with a first experience demonstrating proven understanding of bridging Design and Manufacturing.
• Curiosity for Digital technologies.

• Good leadership and communication skills to interface and influence organizations.
• Willingness and ability to learn from others, and to teach others.
• Negotiation level in English.
