You are passionate about IT, experienced in software development techniques and convinced by the business added value of the digitalization?

Airbus started its Digital journey. The objective being to transform the company and to prepare it for the future. This transformation includes new global governance, new ways of working and the implementation of the implementation of digital business services and platforms managed by Airbus Digital Accelerator organization.

The Airbus' Information Management (IM) organisation and Digital Accelerator department are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Technical Leader (m/f) to join its IoT Platform team in Toulouse, France.

Our objective is to quickly design and develop IoT Platform and services in order to provide value and agility to its Business via self-service, automation and professional support services. In this context Airbus starts the creation of an IoT Platform.

You will build with autonomy and creativity AIRBUS IT transformation to digital area.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your specific responsibilities will be:
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
ø Designing and implementing an automated infrastructure on the Airbus Public Cloud Platforms via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services around IoT Platforms,
ø Responsible for the operational availability of the Airbus IoT Platform,
ø Developing, updating and using CI/CD pipelines to allow fully automated deployments of API services across all environments from Development, Staging to Production,
ø Working in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development,
ø Optimize AWS resources utilization while guarantying the application performance and reliability,
ø Contribute to design and implement new infrastructure operating model making best use of cloud solutions,
ø Research, evaluate and develop new tools to improve product development efficiency,

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your Boarding Pass

ø Master's Degree specialising in Information Technology (or equivalent),
ø Strong experience with Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google, OVH (any certification will be appreciated),
ø Strong understanding of networking, systems architecture, and micro-services architecture,
ø Previous experience in leading a platform creation,
ø Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices,
ø Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects,
ø Great test-driven coding abilities in Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, bash, or JavaScript,
ø Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration,
ø Mastering of at least one cloud orchestration technology (CloudFormation, Terraform, libcloud, Spinnaker),
ø Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker Swarn, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenShift),
ø Experience with IoT Open source platforms (Kafka, NiFi, Spark Streaming, Storm, NoSQL DB, Zookeeper…),
ø Test automation knowledge would be a bonus (Jira Xray, Postman, Cucumber, Selenium),
ø Advanced level in English and advanced level in French would be appreciated.
