Main task of the internship is the enhancement of our existing sensor coverage tool “QSite-Analysis”.
The tool calculates the coverage of several sensors, like air surveillance radars, and display the results in 2D and 3D graphics. The calculation takes into account several physical effects of electromagnetic signal propagation and considers digital terrain elevation data in various formats like DTED and WorldDEM™. Herefore the connection to our Airbus terrain server “OneAtlas” should be implemented during the internship. The GUI is based on Qt and needs to be improved to support new features.
• Expertise in object oriented software development
• Ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
