Description of the job

A vacancy for a Detail Parts Procurement - Supplier Relationship Manager has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

You will work within Airbus Material & Parts Procurement and under the leadership of the Hard Metal Detail Parts MFT (Multi-Functional Team) Leader.

Your role is to negotiate, implement and manage contracts for the development and the supply of structural metallic detail parts Airbus plants use to manufacture their sub-assemblies before delivery to the Final Assembly Lines.

In that frame, you coordinate and lead Local Multi-Functional Teams (Procurement + Program + Quality & Supply Chain + Engineering + Manufacturing Engineering) to ensure the best overall conditions for Airbus and its Customers."

Your main tasks and accountabilities will be the following:
¤ Responsible for management of strategic Detail Parts markets / suppliers
¤ Accountable for providing the best purchasing conditions for Airbus & Airbus Group for the strategic suppliers under his/her responsibility
¤ Accountable for contracting Airbus & Airbus Group needs under his/her responsibility and related contract negotiation, supported by contract manager.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and activities will be divided in 3 different clusters.

Local MFT (Multi-functional Team)
¤ Lead Detail Parts Local MFT (project planning, Procurement status, financial adherence…)
¤ Support and contribute to deployment of the commodity strategy (market intelligence, etc.) using the Airbus & Airbus Group procurement strategy and policy.
¤ Deliver key financial performance (budget, business cases, audit template, project dossiers).
¤ Company cost improvement programs (Single Aisle Move, A350 RC Convergence+…): Coordinate all activities, identify opportunities, and establish associated plan, lead project implementation with appropriate Local MFT, elaborate business cases and reporting.
¤ Supervise & support Transfer of Work (ToW) activities for the market / suppliers

Market management
¤ Supervise market analysis in order to identify/select suppliers.
¤ Propose market strategy to the management and MFT
¤ In the frame of LMFT/MFT, manage risk related to suppliers (financial, strategy, monopoly...) and define appropriate mitigation actions
¤ Ensure availability of market specific requirements (for example quality, technical, capacity etc.) and demand aggregation.
¤ Run RFPs to ensure business needs.
¤ Propose supplier selection proposal & coordination of supplier selection report.
¤ Accountable for negotiation of all contract terms & conditions incl. contract change management.

Supplier Relationship Management
¤ Supplier Relationship Manager for some of the Top 10 key (Material & Part) suppliers.
¤ Accountable for developing & maintaining key suppliers and internal stakeholder relations.
¤ Ensure Financial Health Check on all suppliers and action as appropriate.
¤ Negotiate contract terms and conditions; ensure contract change management, supported by contract manager
¤ Responsible for supplier contractual review meetings.
¤ Responsible for supplier Strategic Fit Meetings and Supplier Management Meeting.
¤ Support and contribute to supplier development initiatives corresponding to the actual and future supplier performance (Cost,
Quality, OTD)
¤ Support and contribute to definition of development targets (for example cost reduction measures, Quality and delivery performance targets).
¤ Support and contribute to perform/participate to regular supplier reviews/assessments
¤ Accountable for consistency between contract terms & conditions, and the information system (SAP…)

Required skills
