Description of the job :
A vacancy for a System Engineer, Radio and Radio Navigation (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. You will join the Radios department.

The Radio department is a transnational department, responsible for
- Radio communication equipment, such as HF and V/UHF radios, Search and Rescue radios, Satellite Communication, Emergency Services communication as well as Mobile Networks Communication.
- Radio navigation equipment, such as Radar Altimeters and Landing Systems
- Emergency Beacons

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Task & accountabilities :
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Break down of customer and regulatory requirements into functional specification and system design restrictions.

• Design of avionic Systems in the area of civilian and military Radio-, Satcom- and Radio Navigation Systems for the Airbus Helicopters products.

• Execution of development tasks as a part of an international Team in an international environment, either for new Systems or as evolution of existing systems.

• Technical supplier management

• Work as a technical focal point in an integrated team with other disciplines as well as suppliers

• Support to internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, ILS etc.

• Support to external stakeholders such as Customers, Qualification Agencies etc.

• Problem analysis and definition of solutions together with internal and external stakeholders.

• Qualification and Certification of systems towards national and international qualification agencies.

Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in Avionics or Telecom, Networks or Systems or Electrotechnics, Hyperfrequency

• Communication skills, team spirit

Language Skills: English and French negotiation level, German language would be a plus
