Description of the job

A vacancy for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. The successful candidate will join the department Midstream Operational Centre.

You will be responsible for in-service support and upgrades to these systems.

The BI system provides reporting functions (reports and Excel cubes) for various functional areas: monitoring of sales, projects, procurements, financial indicators, optical imaging production, monitoring of acceptance station contracts credits (DRS), and satellite programming monitoring elements. It mainly interfaces with the ERP belonging to the Airbus DS GEO France legal entity, as well as with Intelligence optical satellite ground segments: mission systems and catalogues.

The Intelligence CRM is an application used by various Intelligence entities throughout the world and in particular by all Intelligence Sales and Marketing teams. It allows notably the management of information concerning prospects, customer accounts, opportunities, lists and marketing campaigns. Intelligence CRM is based on the CRM Microsoft Dynamics software package.

This position will require security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and activities will include:

·  Leading the work performed by the manufacturer in charge of system upgrades: preparing work packages and sticking to the delivery schedule.
·  Leading in-service support of systems: monitoring the operating indicators on a day-to-day basis, preparing work packages and sticking to the delivery schedule.
·  Driving the relationship with users: giving information on change requests and analysing anomalies, organising follow-up committees and regularly communicating on the status of the system.
·  Managing work package publisher relations: following up maintenance contracts, organising version upgrades and performing technology monitoring.
·  Validating the new versions developed as part of in-service support, and organising their implementation: operational and technical qualifications, training, acceptance, deployment.
·  Ensuring the interface with Configuration Management: delivering new versions, communicating on the status of change requests and anomalies.

The technical documentation and interactions with other staff are partly in French and partly in English.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5-year degree level in Engineering (or equivalent), specialising in IT Engineering/Business Intelligence and with at least 3 years of experience in this field
·  Expert in data warehouse, BI and CRM concepts
·  Good knowledge of information systems
·  Knowledge of MicroSoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
·  Ability to converse with user teams, understand their needs and to translate them into technical specifications
·  Autonomous, responsive, creative force, able to adapt
·  Meticulous approach
·  English: advanced level
·  French: fluent.
